in honor of the television industry. The awards are given by three

Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, and the International
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Winning an Emmy is a very prestigious award,
showing your abilities clearly stand above those in the same arena
of television. There are over 12,000 members of the Academy and
each one gets to place their vote to help determine the winners in
each category. Once the nominees are announced for the Emmy Awards
the buzz and the hype begins. You will start seeing the nominees on
various interviews and in the spotlight to promote them and their
career.
Of course part of the entertainment of the
evening of the Emmy Awards is the red carpet show featuring all the
television stars in beautiful gowns and amazing suits. The best
designers in the world via to have the men and women walking the
red carpet wearing their creations. There are also wonderful
statements made with jewelry and hairstyles.
The Emmy Awards always feature great
entertainment as well to keep the momentum of the evening flowing.
There are well written acceptance speeches as well as those who are
so amazed at winning that they can’t get the words out to thank
those who have helped make it possible. It is the chance to see
your favorite television stars in a new element with no rehearsal
or practiced lines.
After the show, there is always plenty of great
interviews with both the nominees and the winners. There is also
the critiquing of the outfits worn. You can be sure some will be
considered classy, others gorgeous, and we will wonder what a few
of them were thinking in the outrageous selection they made for the
award show.
Millions of people turn into the Emmy Awards each
year to take a peek at the nominees, the clothing, the winners, and
the hype that surrounds the entire process of the Emmy Awards. To
keep these viewers coming back for more, each year the show becomes
